While other activities will give you a great workout, Cardio Tennis challenges you in so many ways. Running, moving sideways, stretching, etc. Your heart rate will also go through high intensity segments…followed by a short period of recovery. This is very similar to interval training.
One of the major benefits is that you will have a much more social experience. Players in Cardio Tennis socialize …and have fun! You are not drearily confined to a boring machine like you are in many other fitness activities.

In an hour’s session of cardio the average person could burn up to 700 calories, compared to 350 if you’re playing doubles and 500 if you’re playing singles, so it’s a great way to lose weight and get fit.”

Cardio Tennis is a great new way of getting and staying fit that involves a mixture of all action games, drills and skills. It is so much fun that you’ll soon forget that you’re also having a great workout. It is literally putting the fun back into fitness.
Cardio tennis sessions are divided into three main parts. Each session starts with an appropriate warm up designed to prepare the body for the type of movements that it’s about to carry out. This is then followed by the main part of the session, which is divided up between games and drills all designed to elevate your heart rate into your training zone. We then finish with a cool down which will help in your recovery.
Cardio Tennis is a great new and fun way of getting fit or staying in shape. Other than cardiovascular fitness Cardio Tennis will also help improve: Bone Density, Power, Co-ordination, Agility, Balance, Proprioception, Strength Endurance and Speed
